Hong Kong Lat Thong is known for its signature spicy soup (lat tong) made with pork or chicken, as well as fah tiew chicken – chunks of chicken braised in a thick soy sauce that’s mixed with Chinese rice wine. Kajang's clay pot "Lat Tong" (hot spicy soup of chicken or pieces of pork meat) originated from Semenyih and spread to Kajang and after that it became popular. This Kajang food is a very popular dish.
