we check out one of asam pedas stalls at Kampung Muhibbah.
The stall holders running Asam Pedas Muhibbah are friendly and full of enthusiasm. We had order ikan unga and ikan pari, the fish was very fresh. Rojak tauhu tempe with soy sauce and peanuts. Acar timun nanas cooked with vinegar, salt, chilli and sugar.
The asam pedas broth was watery and well balanced with mildly savoury spicy sweet flavours with slight tangy notes. You will like this if you like gentler tasting asam pedas, just less of sour.
