Recommend the mee pok for best bite and flavour, but there are also bee hoon and bee tai mak options โ€“ springy handmade fishballs and addictive sprinkle of crispy pork lard bits. The tagliatelle-style egg noodles โ€” called โ€œmeepokโ€ in Singapore โ€” were plentiful and nicely al dente, and the seasonings were spicy. The fishballs were fat ones, too, and tasted super fresh. I liked their firmness โ€” nothing is worse than a squishy mealy fishball, really.
